Description of the design:
The coin features Perugino's portrait and a detail of the baptism of Jesus from a fresco in the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican. At the top right, in a semi-circle, is the inscription "CITTÀ DEL VATICANO" ("Vatican City"). At the bottom is the inscription "PERUGINO" and below that the dates "1523◦2023". At the left is the mint mark "R". The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
