 150th anniversary of the death of Alessandro Manzoni

 Description of the design:
 The coin features a portrait of Manzoni, a pen and the beginning of his masterpiece “I Promessi Sposi” (“The Betrothed”). At the top, from left to right, in a semi-circle is the inscription “CITTÀ DEL VATICANO” (“Vatican City”). At the bottom is the inscription “Alessandro Manzoni” and below that the dates “1873◦2023”. On the left is the mint mark “R”. The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
