Subject of the commemorative coin:
 Special 2 Euro coin in honour of the Sistine Chapel — end of restoration 1994-2019.

 Description of the design:
 The design depicts the Last Judgement in the Sistine Chapel. On the left, in a semi-circle, is the inscription of the issuing country “CITTÀ DEL VATICANO”. On the right, in a semi-circle, are the inscriptions “CAPPELLA SISTINA — FINE DEI RESTAURI” and “1994-2019”. On the right, is the mint mark “R” and at the bottom, the name of the artist “D. LONGO”. The coin’s outer ring depicts the twelve stars of the European flag.
