 Description:
 The city of Avila has preserved the sobriety and purity of the medieval style and has the most complete city walls in Spain. In the centre of the effigy is a detail of the city wall of Avila. At the top, in a circular pattern, the word "ESPANA", the year of issue "2019" and the mint mark. The twelve stars of the European flag are depicted along the outer ring of the coin.
