Subject of the commemorative coin:
 200th anniversary of the start of the Vienna-Bratislava express post with horse-drawn vehicles

 Description:
 The express carriage service between Vienna and Bratislava is depicted by a speeding horse-drawn carriage and a rectangle with a post horn in the centre. Below the image is “1823”, the year the express service began operating, with the names of the cities in Slovak below it: “VIEDEŇ” and “BRATISLAVA”. At the bottom of the coin’s inner circle is the year of issuance “2023”, separated from the text above by a horizontal line. The name of the issuing country “SLOVENSKO” is at the top. To the right of the carriage is the mint mark of the Kremnica Mint (Mincovňa Kremnica), consisting of the letters “MK” between two dies. Just below the mark are the stylised initials “MP”, referring to the designer of the national side, Mária Poldaufová. The coin’s outer ring features the twelve stars of the European flag.
