Subject of the commemorative coin:
 25 years of independence

 Description of the design:
 Across the left part of the inner circle is a diagonal line. To the right of this line, in the upper part of the coin, is the number “25” and underneath it the inscription “REPUBLIKA SLOVENIJA”. Below these inscriptions is a fragment of the Slovenian anthem Zdravljica, namely “docákat' dan” in Prešeren’s handwriting. At the bottom of the inner circle is the year “2016”. The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
