 Description of the design:
 The central piece features the profile of Federico da Montefeltro, a reference to the diptych of the Duke and Duchess of Urbino by Piero della Francesca, which is housed in the Uffizi Galleries (Florence). On the left, in a semi-circle, is the inscription “SAN MARINO”. On the right, in a semi-circle, are the inscription “PIERO della FRANCESCA”, the years 1492 and 2022, the letter R (the mint mark of the Mint of Rome) and the initials of the designer Claudia Momoni, “CM”. The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
