 the 420th birthday of Gian Lorenzo Bernini

 Description of the design:
 In the centre of the coin are depicted a detail of Bernini’s work, “Bust of Costanza Bonarelli”, and the dates “1598-2018”; along the edge on the left is the inscription “SAN MARINO” and on the right the inscription “BERNINI”, the letter “R” (the Roman mint) and the initials of the designer Annalisa Masini, “AM”. The coin’s outer ring depicts the twelve stars of the European Union.
