 Participation of Portugal in the XXXIII Summer Olympics in Paris 2024

 Description:
 The design features a series of elements that together form a heart, which is intended to represent a group hug. Around the heart are 15 circles that symbolize the Olympic rings and the continents they represent. The apex of the heart is formed by the Portuguese coat of arms. In the center of the “hug” is the logo of the Portuguese Olympic Committee, suggesting that the hearts of the Portuguese people will beat together for the Portuguese Olympic team at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Below the heart are the inscription “Equipa Olímpica Portugal” and the year “2024”, on the left the mint mark “Casa da Moeda” and on the right the name of the designer. The outer ring of the coin features the 12 stars of the European flag.
