 Description:
 On the left the effigy of Grand Duke Henri, on the right the Luxembourg tricolour. Above the flag the year “1972”, and below it the year of issue “2022”. At the bottom in the middle the name of the issuing country “LËTZEBUERG”. The outer ring of the coin shows the twelve stars of the European flag.
