Subject of the commemorative coin:
 175th anniversary of the death of Grand Duke William I

 Description of the design:
 On the right of the coin is the effigy of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke Henri, looking to the left, and on the left the effigy of His Royal Highness the Grand Duke Guillaume I. Between the two effigies appear vertically the dates “1772-1843” and the name “Guillaume I”. At the bottom are the word “LUXEMBOURG” and the year “2018”. The coin’s outer ring depicts the twelve stars of the European flag.
