 Description of the design:
 The design shows on the right the face of His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri, looking to the right, and on the left the text “50 Joer Fräiwëllegen-Arméi” as a logo. At the top of the design is the year “2017”, flanked by the mint mark and the initials of the Mint Master. At the bottom is the name of the issuing country “LËTZEBUERG”. The coin’s outer ring depicts the twelve stars of the European flag.
