 Description of the design:
 On the left in the inner part of the coin, the face of His Royal Highness, the Grand Duke Henri, looking to the right, is superimposed on the effigy of Grand Duke Guillaume IV, also looking to the right. The text “GRANDS-DUCS DE LUXEMBOURG” and the year “2012”, flanked by the mint mark and the initials of the Mint Master, appear above both effigies in the inner part of the coin. To the right of the effigies, in the background, the outline of the City of Luxembourg appears. The name “HENRI” and the name “GUILLAUME IV” with the text “† 1912” appear below the respective effigies of the Grand Dukes. The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the flag of the European Union.
