Subject of the commemorative coin:
National Museum of Slovenia

Description:
The Carniola Museum was founded on 15 October 1821. The museum received donations from all over the country, many of which can still be seen in the museum today. The special thing about this museum is that it is spread over several locations. The museum became too small in Ljubljana due to its extensive collection, which is why it was given several locations. The original Carniola Museum can still be visited today. The museum has had several names throughout its history. These different names are shown on the front of the coin. On the back you can see the country name: Slovenija and the year of issue, 2021.
