 Description:
 The design features a Latvian brown cow, a symbol of Latvian dairy farming both in folklore and in everyday life. At the bottom left of the design is the year of issuance “2016” and at the bottom of the inner circle is the name of the issuing country “LATVIJA”. The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
