 The design shows in the centre the logo of the National Fire Brigade; on the left “RI”, the acronym of the Italian Republic; on the right, the year of the coin’s issuance “2020”; “R”, the mint mark of the Mint in Rome; at the bottom “LDS”, the initials of the designer Luciana De Simoni; at the top, the arched inscription “CORPO NAZIONALE DEI VIGILI DEL FUOCO”. The coin’s outer ring features the 12 stars of the European flag.
