 200 years of Greek War of Independence

 Description of the design:
 The Greek flag is at the center of the design, surrounded by laurel branches. The inner ring is inscribed (in Greek) “1821-2021 200 YEARS SINCE THE GREEK REVOLUTION” and “HELLENIC REPUBLIC”. At the bottom, between two laurel branches, a palmette (the mint mark of the Greek Mint) and the signature of the designer (George Stamatopoulos) are visible. The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
