 30 years of the Festival of Music

 Description of the design:
 The central part of the coin depicts a joyful crowd, with a stylised representation of a musical instrument and musical notes floating in the air, to reflect the exuberant mood at the Festival of Music, which has taken place in France every year since 1981 on the day of the summer solstice. In the centre of the image are the words ‘Fête de la MUSIQUE’ and the date ‘21 June 2011’. At the top, descending to the right, are engraved the words ‘30 e ANNIVERSAIRE’ and at the bottom the national indication ‘RF’. The ring around the central part of the coin features the 12 stars of the European flag.
