 Description:
 The theme of the coin is stylised beard moss, which is printed with its root-like structure on the centre of the coin. The edge inscription “CLIMATE RESEARCH” is printed twice along the outside of the centre, in Finnish on the left and in Swedish on the right. The inscription “2022 FI” is placed at the bottom of the centre. The mint mark of the Mint of Finland is placed at the top of the centre. The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
