 Description of the design:
 The coin features a portrait of the great Estonian chess player Paul Keres with a number of chess pieces. At the top left is the inscription “PAUL KERES” in the form of a semicircle. At the left is the name of the issuing country “EESTI” and below it the year of issuance “2016”. The coin’s outer ring depicts the twelve stars of the European flag.
