The impressive, detailed image of the concert hall against the backdrop of the maritime cityscape depicts the state of Hamburg exceptionally convincingly. The left half of the inner part of the coin features the code for Germany as issuing country “D”, the year “2023” and the mint mark of the respective mint (“A”, “D”, “F”, “G” or “J”). The right half features the designer’s initials and the inscription “HAMBURG” at the bottom. The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
