 Description:
 Image of Wartburg Castle, the first German castle to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The inner part also features the name “THÜRINGEN” and the country code “D” of the issuing country at the bottom, the mint mark of the respective coin (“A”, “D”, “F”, “G” or “J”) and the engraver’s mark on the right, and the year “2022” on the left. Artist: Olaf Stoy (Rabenau). The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
