 The design shows Magdeburg Cathedral, the first Gothic cathedral on German soil. The inner part at the bottom also features the name “SACHSEN-ANHALT” and the country code “D” of the issuing country. On the left are the mint mark of the respective mint (“A”, “D”, “F”, “G” or “J”) and the year “2021”. On the right is the engraver’s mark. The outer ring of the coin features the twelve stars of the European flag.
