 Description of the design:
 The inner part of the coin shows a hand holding a globe with a plant. The inscription “2015 EUROPEAN YEAR FOR DEVELOPMENT” appears as a rainbow around the globe. The nationality “BE” is shown below the hand, while the mint master mark and the Brussels mint mark, a helmeted profile of the Archangel Michael, are shown on the left. The coin’s outer ring depicts the 12 stars of the European flag.
