 200th Birthday of Louis Braille

 Description of the design:
 The inner part of the coin features the portrait of Louis Braille, flanked by the initials L and B in the script he invented. Above the portrait is the inscription “LOUIS BRAILLE” and below the portrait, between the years 1809 and 2009, is “BE”, indicating the issuing country. The mint mark is visible on the left and the mint master’s mark on the right. The twelve stars of the European flag are depicted along the outer ring of the coin. The design is by Luc Luycx.
